Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with tall collar and tooled rim, decorated on the front with two-stemmed clover plant. Collar decorated with cobalt swags. Cobalt highlights to the handle terminals. Missing handle. Loss to spout. A 1" base chip. A thin 5 1/2" crack from rim on side of pitcher. H 8 1/2".
