Rare Half-Gallon Stoneware with Cobalt Wreath and Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD, circa 1840, cylindrical jar with tooled and tapered shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with a brushed cobalt wreath surrounding a tulip blossom. Excellent decoration, featuring bold, thick cobalt slip, coupled with appealing small size to the jar.
