Glazed Rockingham Storage Jar, Stamped "BOSTON / EARTHENWARE / MANUF'G CO", circa 1855, molded jar with footed base and ornamental handles, the surface decorated with a mottled reddish-brown glaze over a yellowish ground. Underside impressed with Boston Earthenware Manufacturing Company maker's mark. Provenance: The Stradlings; Ex-Ted Geers, 1978. Missing lid. A rim chip. Numerous small chips to inner rim where lid would rest. H 8 1/4".
