Scarce Stoneware Jug with Impressed Fish Decoration, Stamped "A. STANDISH / TAUNTON, MASS.", mid 19th century, squat-shaped jug with rounded spout, the shoulder impressed with a fish design above an A. Standish maker's mark, the surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 8".
