Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Pears Decoration, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1870, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded wax sealer rim, decorated on the front with a stenciled design of two pears hanging from a leafy branch. A 5" vertical line extending from shoulder to base on reverse. H 8 1/4".
