Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird-on-Stump Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, N.Y.", circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird with fan-shaped tail, perched on a tree stump flanked by shrubs. Restoration to right side of crock. A Y-shaped crack on underside. A chip on interior of rim.
