Five-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO.. / FORT EDWARD. N.Y.", circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a floral spray accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Several chips to inner rim, which would hold a lid. An iron ping to interior. A small area of fry to cobalt.
