Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with freehand stripes above Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling. Base with stenciled "2" flanked by flourishes above a freehand stripe. Excellent condition with some wear to shoulder molding and minor wear to surface.
