Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PENN.", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with freehand stripes and vining above Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling. Base with freehand "2" flanked by dashes, above a freehand stripe. Very nice condition with some light staining, minor surface wear, and some small spots of fry to cobalt.
