Five-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, attributed to Jane Lew, WV, late 19th century, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with three brushed wavy stripes and a script "5". Very nice condition. A minor chip to each handle. A 1 1/4" salt drip to reverse. Shallow chips to inner rim for lid.
