Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Cherries Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG. PA", circa 1865, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed design of a leafy branch bearing a cluster of three cherries. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Restoration around base, extending onto underside.
