One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt "1847" Date, probably Connecticut origin, 1847, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, featuring the slip-trailed date "1847" below a flower. Excellent condition with a 1 3/8" line along edge of handle, a few very minor spots of old green paint to shoulder, and an old threaded lamp insert on interior of spout.
