Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Stenciled "A. CONRAD / NEW GENEVA, / PA.", circa 1875, a canning jar with scrolled maker's stenciling surrounding a foliate motif; paired with a semi-ovoid jar featuring A. Conrad maker's stenciling accented with stenciled flourishes. Canning jar with a 2" hairline from rim, a few minor chips to inner wax sealer rim, and traces of old paint to rim, shoulder, and underside. Other jar missing some stenciling, with a large salt drip to left side of jar.
