Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Grapes Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG", circa 1865, ovoid jug with squared spout, decorated with a large brushed design of a grape cluster hanging from a leafy vine. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Restoration to spout and neck. A few shallow in-the-firing base flakes and two post-firing base chips.
