Scarce Half-Gallon Lancaster, PA Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout and salt-glazed surface, decorated with the slip-trailed advertising "John Horting. / 142 N. Queen St. / Lancaster, / Pa.". Provenance: David Musser Collection. A minor chip to underside near edge. A minuscule nick to spout on reverse with a 1/8" line descending from it. Some in-the-firing fry to the inscription "Pa.". H 9 1/2".
