Unusual Large-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Midwestern, circa 1830, approximately two-and-a-half to three-gallon pitcher with ovoid body and tooled accents to rim and base of collar, decorated with a hanging spotted floral motif flanking by a series of swags. Additional swag and flower blossom design to collar. Cobalt stripes to handle. Restoration to spout area. Small X-shaped line on underside, probably in-the-firing, and not visible on interior. H 14 1/2".
