Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a two tulip conjoined at the stem. Cobalt wavy line decoration under each handle. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Some shallow chips to interior and exterior of rim. A small handle chip.
