Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid-bodied pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and applied handle, decorated with a series of large swags and hanging flowers around the waist. Additional foliate decoration to the sides of the collar and flanking the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 4" hairline from rim. A small base chip.
