Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of four drooping flowers around the shoulder. Excellent color. 2” hairline on underside continuing 3 1/2” up base. A small chip and minuscule nick on interior of rim. A minuscule nick on exterior of rim.
