Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1840-1875, a three-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt hanging tulip decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, paired with a half-gallon cylindrical jar with cobalt floral decoration. Ovoid jar with a long, partially-colored Y-shaped crack on one side and a smaller colored spider crack from rim on side of jar at handle, as well as an in-the-firing contact mark to reverse. Cylindrical jar with spider crack on side and rim chips.
