Two Baltimore, MD Stoneware Jars, circa 1875, both of cylindrical form, a half-gallon example with a cobalt leaf design and a one-gallon example with hanging clover design. Half-gallon jar with a 2 1/4" hairline from rim and a tiny chip to bottom edge. One-gallon jar with an approximately 3 3/4" curving crack from rim and some exfoliation to underside.
