Two Stoneware Jars, Palatine, West Virginia and Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875-1880, a two-gallon jar with freehand and stenciled decoration including unusual brushed daubs around the shoulder, stenciled "BOYERS & HARDEN / PALATINE / W VA," paired with a two-gallon jar with freehand and stenciled decoration, stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. PA.". Palatine jar with large sealed spider crack on right side of jar, extending onto front near base, as well as onto underside. Reppert jar with significant restoration to body, rim, and underside, including front.
