Two Pieces of Greensboro, PA Stoneware, circa 1875, a two-gallon jar with stenciled rose and freehand stripe decoration, stenciled "JAMES HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO, / PA.," paired with a one-gallon jug, stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES. / GREENSBORO, / PA". Jar with blurriness to stenciling and a faint line in underside. Jug in excellent condition with a tiny spout nick and a thin piece of in-the-firing jug stacker clay adhered to handle.
