Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT. / GREENSBORO, PA.," circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and flattened rim, featuring Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling in the form of a banner, along with freehand stripes above and below. Base with large freehand "3" flanked by flourishes. Surface crazing to bottom half of reverse side of jar. A small chip to the end of one handle.
