Two Pieces of Western PA Stoneware, circa 1875-1885, a five-gallon jar with elaborate stenciled and freehand cobalt decoration, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO / PA,", paired with a double-handled jug with elaborate stenciled and freehand decoration, stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA.". Hamilton jar with staining, traces of old paint, and a minor handle chip. Williams & Reppert jug with significant cracks throughout, some salt drips on reverse, and some wear to cobalt.
