Scarce Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Cobalt Rose Decoration, Stenciled "ENEIX / NEW GENEVA, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and lug handles, featuring Eneix, or possibly Dilliner & Eneix, stenciling, surrounded by stenciled roses. Large salt drips to front. In-the-firing chips to one handle. Some wear to surface. An approximately 4 3/4" X-shaped line to reverse.
