Rare One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "ENEIX & FRANKENBERRY. / NEW GENEVA PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, featuring short-lived Eneix & Frankenberry maker's stenciling below a stenciled "1" with flourishes. Approximately 3 1/2" thin crack from rim. Some rust-colored splotches to jar. Two small post-firing chips on interior of rim and one small in-the-firing chip on interior of rim. A tiny nick to shoulder molding.
