One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jar, Stenciled "R.T. WILLIAMS / MANUFACTURER / NEW GENEVA. / PA.," circa 1885, ovoid jar with flattened rim, featuring R.T. Williams maker's stenciling, freehand stripes, and a freehand "1 1/2" with flourishes at base. Excellent condition with some grease staining, an in-the-firing contact mark to shoulder, and a very minor in-the-firing contact mark to rim on reverse.
