Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "NEW GENEVA POTTERY," PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with semi-squared wax sealer rim and tooling to midsection and shoulder, the body decorated with wavy graduated stripes flanking the maker's stenciling "NEW GENEVA POTTERY". Wear to surface. Some very faint lines to base area, visible on sides and reverse. A short line in rim on reverse. H 9 3/4".
