Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM-A' MACQUOID & CO / NEW-YORK / LITTLE WST 12TH ST.," New York, New York origin, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a flowering plant bearing two tulips, a daisy, and a leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. 7 3/4" crack from rim on front. 4 1/2" crack from rim on reverse. 5 1/2" inverted Y-shaped line on side of crock. Some staining. Rim chips. A handle chip.
