Two-Gallon Glazed Redware Jug, attributed to Galena, Illinois, second half 19th century, squat cylindrical jug with flared spout, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze. Excellent greenish coloration with orange spotting throughout. Wear to spout. Small worn spot to handle. A few glaze flakes to body. Some light surface wear to right side of jug.
