Three-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "H B PFALTZGRAFF / YORK PA," circa 1870-1889, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed leafy stem extending across the front. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. Some tight surface lines to crock, not visible on interior, probably in-the-firing. Minor wear to ends of handles.
