Rare Trenton, New Jersey Rockingham-Glazed Spittoon, Signed "SPEELER, TAYLOR, & BLOOR. / TRENTON. / N.J.," circa 1855-1859, molded free-form spittoon with fine relief grape cluster and vine designs around body and on top surface. Surface decorated with streaks of brown and touches of blue over a yellowish ground. Large embossed "SPEELER, TAYLOR, & BLOOR" maker's mark on underside. A 7/8" chip to top edge. Two hairline on top surface. H 4 3/4" ; L 9 3/4".
