Scarce Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Stamped "H. MYERS," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1830, cylindrical crock with footed base, squared rim, and applied tab handles, decorated with three groups of brushed swags on the front and reverse. Impressed with "H. MYERS" maker's mark under one handle. Heavy crazing and some thin cracks throughout. Small chips and wear to rim. A few small base chips. H 5" ; Diameter 8".
