Unusual Redware Sugar Bowl with Impressed Handles, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, with pedestal base, ovoid body, and large tab handles decorated with impressed flowers, the surface decorated in sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. One handle reglued. Wear to edges of handles. Inverted Y-shaped crack from rim. Heavy chipping and wear to rim. Base chips. 1 1/2" surface crack to top of base. H 4 1/2" ; Diameter (across top) 5 1/2".
