Fine Glazed Redware Batter Pitcher with Marbled Slip Decoration, probably New England origin, 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid form with footed base, tooled shoulder, and pinched pouring spout, the surface decorated with marbled cream and dark-brown slip over a reddish-brown ground. Excellent condition with minor wear, including a small chip to underside at edge. H 5 1/2".
