Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed cobalt design of a crested parrot with paddle-shaped tail, perched on a large spotted leaf. Excellent condition with a minor rim chip, a tiny rim nick, and a shallow base chip.
