Two Pennsylvania Stoneware Crocks, circa 1865-1875, both of one-gallon size and cylindrical form with brushed cobalt tulip decorations, one marked "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG PA," the other marked "EVAN R JONES / PITTSTON PA". Cowden & Wilcox crock with 2" inverted Y-shaped crack from rim on reverse, stained surface lines, a small chip to one handle, minor wear to end of opposite handle, and a small chip on interior of rim. Jones crock with some exfoliation to rim area.
