Large-Sized Redware Bowl with Glazed Interior, probably New England origin, early to mid 19th century, tapered bowl with rounded rim, the interior covered in a lead glaze over a light orange ground flecked with spots of copper. Wear to interior. In-the-firing chip with separation beside it, together measuring a total of 2 1/4", visible on exterior of rim. A smooth chip to top of rim, possibly in-the-firing. Some iron or stone pings to surface. Diameter 15 3/4" ; H 4 1/4".
