Unusual Glazed Redware Jug, 19th century, a narrow, cylindrical redware jug with incised banding, the surface covered in a lead glaze over a mottled reddish-orange and olive ground. Excellent condition. Shallow chipping throughout bottom edge. Wear and residue to inner edge of spout. Jug is filled with a solid substance, adding to its weight. H 12".
