Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1840, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar, and large, rounded lug handles, the front and back decorated with a leafy vine bearing two large fan-shaped blossoms. Additional brushed wavy line decoration under each handle. Water glass staining to surface. Heavy chipping to base. Two rim chips.
