One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated completely around with a vine bearing eight tulip blossoms and heavy swags. Three long hairlines to body of jar. Three rim chips. Hairline on underside, extending a short distance onto base. Some fry to section of cobalt.
