Rare Diminutive Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, New York State origin, possibly Cortland, NY, third quarter 19th century, pint-sized, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flared rim, the front decorated with a large cobalt tulip extending from a leafy stem. Additional cobalt stripe at shoulder. One large rim chip and one smaller rim chip. Otherwise excellent condition. H 5".
