One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "L.D. FUNKHOUSER & CO. / STRASBURG VA," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of heavily-brushed cobalt swags around the shoulder. Excellent condition with a small base chip and a few very minor rim nicks.
