Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY / N.Y. / POTTERY," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a crested bird with long tail, perched on a stylized branch. Staining to surface and two small rim chips. Otherwise excellent condition.
