Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably A.J. Buttler, New Brunswick, NJ, mid 19th century, squat-formed jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip below the number "2" flanked by dashes. 3/4" stone ping on reverse. Glazed-over 1 1/4" base chip on front.
