Unusual Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JUGTOWN WARE," Seagrove, NC origin, Dated 1975, ovoid jug with flared spout and applied strap handle, decorated with cobalt and iron design of a pine tree on a snow-covered hillside, with other trees in the distance. Surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Underside impressed with Jugtown maker's mark and incised "1975". Excellent condition. H 13 1/4".
