Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pilsner Bottle, Westerwald, Germany, 19th century, cylindrical bottle with narrow spout, deocrated with a stylized cobalt foliate design surrounded by scalloped cobalt designs. Marked "1/2" in cobalt slip. Inverted Y-shaped hairline to on reverse. Small Y-shaped hairline on shoulder. A few minor base nicks. H 12 1/2".
