Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cake Crocks, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1865, one-gallon cake or butter crock with brushed cobalt leaf, paired with a two-gallon cake crock with large tulip decoration. One-gallon crock with large base chips, base exfoliation, and a hairline in front. Two-gallon crock with hole in underside, a few rim chips (one filled), some fry to cobalt, a short hairline from rim.
