One-Gallon Lidded Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with heavily-tooled shoulder and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and back with a brushed cobalt tulip design. Lid decorated with cobalt swags and cobalt around the knob. Crock in excellent condition. Lid with several chips, including a 1 3/4" chip to edge.
